The short version

Your files are processed on your device. When you compress a photo, merge a PDF or resize a signature here, the file is read into your browser’s memory, worked on by your own device’s processor, and handed back to you as a download. It is never sent to us, and we never see it.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to use any tool.

What actually happens to a file you choose

1. Your browser reads the file from your device into memory.
2. The tool’s code — already downloaded to your browser — does the work.
3. The result is offered to you as a download link created in your browser.
4. When you leave the page or close the tab, all of it is discarded.

There is no upload step in that sequence. This is not a policy promise about what we do with your files; it is a description of software that never receives them.

What this website does collect

Standard server logs. Like any website, requesting a page from our host involves your device sending an IP address, a browser identification string and the address of the page you asked for. Our hosting provider records this briefly to serve pages and to detect abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you.

Nothing else, at present. There is currently no analytics on this site and no advertising code. If that changes, this page changes with it, on the same day, and the section below describes what that will look like.

Advertising

Thela Tools is intended to be funded by advertising so that it can stay free. Advertising is not enabled yet. When it is:

• Advertisements will be served by a third-party advertising network. Loading them means your browser makes requests to that network, and the network can set cookies or read device identifiers to decide which advertisement to show and to count how many people saw it.
• We will name the network on this page, link to its own privacy policy, and say what it collects.
• Visitors in regions that require consent before such cookies are set will be asked first, through a consent notice, and will be able to change their answer later.
• Advertisements are kept away from the upload and download controls, and their space is reserved in the page layout so that nothing moves under your finger when an advertisement loads.

Advertising never gets access to the files you process here. Those files do not leave your device, so there is nothing for an advertiser to receive.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies of its own. It does not store your files, your inputs or your results between visits.

Children

These are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data about you beyond the server logs described above, there is generally nothing for us to look up, correct or delete on request. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will tell you what we have and remove it if we can.

Changes to this page

The date at the top of this page is the date of the last substantive change. Enabling advertising or analytics will always be reflected here first.
