Using these tools

Thela Tools is provided free of charge by Thela Labs for anyone to use. You do not need an account. You may use the tools for personal or commercial work.

You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to process them.

What the tools do not guarantee

Application requirements. Several tools help you prepare photos, signatures and documents for application forms. Any dimensions or file-size figures shown as presets are editable examples, not verified requirements for any specific exam, board, department or portal. Requirements change without notice. Always read the current instructions on the portal you are applying to. We are not responsible for an application that is rejected.

File-size and format checks. The document size checker compares a file against a limit you enter and reads the filename extension to guess the format. It does not inspect file contents and cannot promise that a portal will accept a file.

Photo layouts. The passport-photo layout arranges copies at a physical size you specify. It does not assess face position, background, expression or compliance with any passport or visa standard.

Results generally. These are utilities, not professional services. Check the output before you rely on it, and keep your original file.

No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Thela Labs is not liable for any loss arising from their use, including lost or damaged files, missed deadlines or rejected applications. Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Availability

We may change, add or withdraw tools at any time, and the site may be unavailable from time to time.

Third-party software

These tools are built on open-source libraries, whose licences and notices are acknowledged on the about page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts at Mumbai having jurisdiction.
